Greetings from Tooth Bunny's home ! HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2017 (year of the rooster) bring you much happiness and blessings.
Can't believe it's already 5 January 2017. Did your November and December fly by too?
Did you make any new year's resolutions for 2017?
New year's resolutions were on my "must-do" lists for many years. I've kind of "grown out of" making new year's resolutions. Not because I'm now getting on in years and don't have any dreams or have reached the pinnacle of perfection making resolutions obsolete. FAR FROM THAT. I don't make new year's resolutions anymore, mainly because I enthusiastically make them (like "go to the gym!" and "eat less chocolate!"), and, embarrassingly, give up way too soon after I make them.
Instead of new year's resolutions, I try to set my year's mood by focussing on a word or a few words of importance to me. This year, I came across something fundamentally profound while I was doing my morning reading on New Year's day, which reminded me that, each day is to be treasured...TODAY is a present. Today is here now. Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. So I better not be too slow to act, but live today, live the moment. And if possible, aim to make use of the present to be a blessing to others. Do something...for somebody...some time during the year. Be thankful for the opportunities to make a difference...no matter how little. Afterall, it only takes "a spark to set a fire going". So, that's my word for 2017..."PRESENT". If it's you choosing a word for 2017, what would it be?
Looking back, Tooth Bunny has so much to be thankful for since launching on 4 October 2016 (Yup, "3mths old"). Thank YOU for being a part! Thank you for sharing the journey with us. Just as you've blessed us, may God bless you in the most wonderful ways!
It was a "Bunny Flower" (see photo above) back in August 2016 that propelled Tooth Bunny out of years of hiding. A few days ago, 2 January 2017, another "Bunny Flower" (see photo above also) reinforced it all again. To me, "Bunny Flowers" provided a bit of an affirmation, lessening doubts (yes Tooth Bunny did think about going back to hibernation - and yes, more than once. To be honest, probably all too often because of innate "introvertedness").
Presently (word of 2017!), looking forward to Tooth Bunny and Friends (Friend - that's you!) journeying together in 2017!
